Job Description
Join Flex Ltd., a global leader in design, manufacturing, and supply chain solutions for the electronics industry. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Electronics Packer to join our high-tech, clean warehouse team in New Port Richey, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficient flow of high-quality electronic components and finished products in a state-of-the-art facility. As an Electronics Packer, you will be responsible for accurately and carefully packing various electronic components and finished goods according to established procedures and quality standards. Your role is crucial in ensuring that products are securely packaged for shipment, maintaining their integrity, and upholding our commitment to quality. The work environment is clean, climate-controlled, and designed for precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack electronic components and finished goods into appropriate containers or boxes, following precise instructions.
- Perform visual quality checks on products before packing to identify any defects or discrepancies.
- Verify correct product counts and ensure all required accessories or documentation are included.
- Utilize scanning equipment to track inventory and maintain accurate records of packed items.
- Apply labels and shipping marks correctly to packages.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment safely as needed (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production and packing goals.
- Report any issues with products, equipment, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing and quality inspection.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, lift up to 25 pounds regularly, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or packing environment, especially with electronics.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or scanning devices.
- Basic computer proficiency.
