Job Description
Are you passionate about local history, culture, and providing an exceptional luxury experience? Executive Limousine & Sedan is seeking a professional and knowledgeable Luxury Tour Chauffeur with a specialized focus on historical and city tours within the Kansas City metropolitan area. This role is perfect for an experienced chauffeur who combines impeccable driving skills with a deep understanding of local landmarks, historical sites, and cultural narratives. You will be responsible for creating memorable and engaging tour experiences for our VIP clients, ensuring their journey is as informative as it is comfortable and luxurious.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate luxury vehicles for city and historical tours, ensuring the highest standards of passenger comfort and safety.
- Develop and deliver engaging narratives about Kansas City's historical landmarks, cultural sites, and points of interest.
- Customize tour routes and itineraries based on client preferences and time constraints.
- Maintain a pristine condition of the assigned luxury vehicle, including interior and exterior cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating client needs and exceeding expectations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and luggage handling.
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Manage scheduling and routing efficiently, using navigation and communication tools.
- Handle confidential client information with discretion.
Required Skills
- Valid Chauffeur's License (Class E or equivalent)
- Clean driving record for the past 5 years
- Minimum of 3 years of professional chauffeur experience, preferably in luxury transportation or tour services
- Extensive knowledge of Kansas City history, landmarks, and cultural attractions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Kansas City metropolitan area
- Punctuality and reliability
- Impeccable personal presentation and grooming
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in defensive driving or advanced chauffeur training
- Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French, German)
- Experience with high-profile clients or VIP services
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Background in tourism, hospitality, or historical studies
